The second edition of the Winter School organised by Museo Galileo, in collaboration with the Italian Society for the History of Science (SISS), aims to offer its participants a full immersion in the life of the Florentine institution, with a focus on museum and library collections as well as on research activities and the dissemination of historical-scientific culture.
The Winter School aims not only to provide advanced training in the history of science through lectures, seminars and museum visits, but also to offer opportunities for scholars, museum workers and students to discuss how a museum and research institute works ‘behind the scenes’.
The working language is Italian.
