The project, which is the outcome of a collaboration between the Museo Galileo and the Accademia dei Georgofili, explores the relationship between humans and forests through an exhibition supported by a thematic digital library. The digital library offers a wide range of materials, including historical photographs, documents, essays and multimedia content. A user-friendly interface with advanced search tools ensures a simple and intuitive browsing experience across images, texts, and thematic sections.
The project is rooted in the idea that silviculture, or the science of forest management, encourages reflection on the relationship between humans and nature, inviting people to reconsider their own place in the natural world.
