On September 13, the prize-giving ceremony of the first edition of the Premio Barnaba. Un museo una storia was held at Pieve Santo Stefano. The Premio Barnaba is a literary contest dedicated to unpublished autobiographical short stories, which is promoted by Museo Galileo in collaboration with the Fondazione Archivio Diaristico Nazionale and sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Culture, ICOM Italia and the Associazione Nazionale Musei Scientifici.
The judging panel —made up of Monica Barni, Massimo Bucciantini, Natalia Cangi, Enzo Rammairone, and Domenico Scarpa— awarded the prize to Il sogno di Costantino by Silvia Tebaldi, which was selected among nearly 200 candidates. This text, together with the other 23 finalist short stories, will be collected in a book published by the Edizioni Museo Galileo.
Beside the judging panel, the ceremony was attended by Roberto Ferrari, Executive Director of Museo Galileo, and by the essayer Rodolfo Sacchettini, who interviewed the winner.
