News: Memorandum of Understanding between Museo Galileo and Shanghai Science & Technology Museum

The Museo Galileo and the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting scientific and cultural cooperation between the two institutions, based on the principles of equality and mutual benefit.

The Shanghai Science & Technology Museum is one of China’s most visited museums and a premier center for science communication in Asia. The complex integrates a science and technology museum, a natural history museum, and an astronomy museum. It offers visitors an immersive and highly interactive experience, featuring thematic galleries ranging from space exploration to robotics, and from biodiversity to artificial intelligence.

The agreement between the two institutions aims to foster exhibition exchanges, enhance international cooperation in educational and science popularization programs, and promote academic exchanges as well as the sharing of best practices in educational and scientific development.
