We are delighted to announce that LeonardoTheka, the innovative digital library developed by the Museo Galileo for the study of Leonardo’s manuscripts, has been shortlisted for the Apollo Awards 2026. The awards are presented annually by the prestigious British art magazine Apollo to celebrate the most significant individuals, works, museums and projects on the international art scene.

Launched in its new version in London last June, LeonardoTheka is competing in the “Digital Innovation of the Year” category, which recognises the best digital innovations in the art world.

The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony, to be held at the Old Sessions House in London on Thursday 19 November 2026. Among the guests attending are Roberto Ferrari, Executive Director of Museo Galileo, Martin Clayton, Head of Prints and Drawings at the Royal Collection Trust, and Counsellor Maria Manca, Head of Press and Cultural Affairs at the Embassy of Italy in London.
