Museo Galileo is pleased to announce the winning projects of the "Galileo Museum" Special Awards, presented as part of "Leonardo 4 Children," an international initiative that combines creativity, science, and social commitment.

In the ‘Art & Science’ section, the award was given to the project "A telescope on ocean acidification," created by Omar Eddary, Luca Talamona, and Keivin Zhafaj, under the guidance of Margherita Mesirca. The work stood out in a highly competitive category that saw the participation of 264 projects from 19 countries.

In the ‘Fables’ section, the special award went to the project "The voice in the sky," created by a group of 16 children under the supervision of Despina Armenaki.

Both works beautifully interpreted the core themes of the competition—climate protection, equality, and peace—with great sensitivity and originality, demonstrating how the language of art and storytelling can become a powerful tool for scientific dissemination and reflection.

As winners of the Special Awards, the young authors and their chaperones will be guests of Museo Galileo in the coming months.

The Carano 4 Children Foundation is actively committed at an international level to developing the potential and talents of children and teenagers, paying particular attention to child protection and the promotion of their well-being through art and science.
