This volume collects the proceedings of the international conference held in Rome on April 22-23, 2024, organized by the Parco Archeologico del Colosseo in collaboration with the Museo Galileo. The event took place on the occasion of the closing of the exhibition Trajan’s Column: The Story of a Symbol, which was also the result of the partnership between these two institutions.

Speakers: Alfonsina Russo, Capo Dipartimento per la Valorizzazione del Patrimonio Culturale, Ministero della Cultura; Simone Quilici, Director, Parco Archeologico del Colosseo; Salvatore Settis, Professor Emeritus, Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa and member of the Accademia dei Lincei. The Editors will be present.
