An incredible journey for children and adults to discover how vision works.
How does an image form in our eye? How does light behave? What role do lenses play in forming and magnifying images? Through a simple camera obscura and experiments inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s studies, participants will step into this dimension. Leonardo’s curiosity will lead us all the way to Galileo, to lenses, and to his telescope – the instrument that changed how we observe the world and the sky.
Designed for families with children aged 6 to 10, this activity is organized in collaboration with the Museo Leonardiano in Vinci. It takes place as part of “La scienza in famiglia” (Science for Families), a series of activities organized by the Rete Toscana dei Musei Scientifici.
The activity is included in the museum admission ticket. No additional fee is required.
